Introducing the Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Collection at the Baselworld 2017

Maurice Lacroix introduced two new models in their Masterpiece Retrograde series of watches at the Baselworld 2017 – the Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Double Retrograde which features dual retrograde registers and the Masterpiece Moon Retrograde which features a moon phase complication.

The display of the Masterpiece Double Retrograde is encased in 43mm stainless steel, featuring hours, minutes and a small seconds display at 9 o’clock. Below noon, a retrograde hand displays a different time zone. The watches come in an option of silver or black dials, adorned with either a rhodium or a blue ‘M’ logo, and a black crocodile leather strap completes the look of this remarkable timepiece.

The Masterpiece Moon Retrograde

But where the Double Retrograde is all business, the Moon Retrograde injects some whimsy into its classy design. Also encased in 43mm stainless steel, the dial options include silver, black and blue – with the latter two colours featuring a stylish vertically brushed effect or a Cotes de Geneve motif. The ‘M’ logo and indexes come in rhodium or blue.
