A changing workforce landscape, survival and success; the annual Transform Town Hall Forum for SME’s was an ear-opening day of personal stories and perspectives from around 175 local business owners, founders, entrepreneurs, as well as invited international guests. A scene-setting session on the fundamentals of business was led by Hj Awg. Ahmad Morshidi bin POKDGSDDLU Hj. Awg. Abdul Rahman, Chairman and Managing Director of IDEAL Group of Companies and Albert Lau, CEO of automobile distributor QAF Brunei, who shared perspectives on long term survival and the leadership qualities that matter. Tough questions like when to really quit a losing game, and how to implement a culture of integrity in business, were posed from an interactive audience, as well as some key takeaways from a forward-looking discussion around opportunity and challenges ahead, titled “The Year Ahead: What to Watch Out For”. Hj Awg. Morshidi shared with us that it was great to be in the presence of both seasoned and new entrepreneurs and that he was positive about the future of business in Brunei.
