This is certainly one of the most unlikely places you'll find us hunting for the best chicken rice in town. Located in a non-descript building in the residential neighbourhood of Telanai, the delicious rice – fluffy and not oily – redolent of ginger and chicken, is lightly bathed in a rich sweet soya broth. A generous portion of roasted chicken is served on a bed of cucumber slices, again with the soya broth and a side serving of a spicy chili-garlic dip. The soya sauce was so addictive that I asked for an extra bowl of it, just to pour over my rice.
