Why I included this restaurant in this taste test beats me. It is after all popular for dishes that originally hail from the oil-town of Kuala Belait like cucur udang, laksa and ice-kachang. As expected, this restaurant serves the least exciting version of chicken rice that I tasted the whole day. The fried chicken pieces were served with thick, brownish gravy (that reminded me of the western-styled brown sauce that is served with roasts). The rice lacks flavour and the chili dip is a little too garlicky.
