The restaurant prides itself with having the original recipe from the famous BB Hailam Chicken Rice in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. It has since evolved, catering for local preferences to include a choice of char-siew chicken with their signature fragrant rice. But not-so-oily rice lives up to its reputation as an off-spring of the popular chicken rice stall in Kuala Lumpur. The alternative char-siew (barbequed chicken) makes a refreshing alternative to the ubiquitous steamed or roasted chicken that normally accompanies this dish.
